The project meets the needs of national and international buyers by presenting the new developments for the manufacture of fashion-related products

Original by Brasil is a virtual  B2B (business-to-business) marketplace that brings together several suppliers of materials for the development of fashion-related products, such as shoes, clothes, handbags, belts, etc. It works as a showcase, where you can view different products and request a quote directly from the manufacturer, even if you are outside of Brazil. 
As of this week, all the materials that were on display at the Exhibition on June 4th and 5th, through the Inspiramais Connection project, will be available on the platform. 

Original by Brasil is an export-boosting initiative of the By Brasil, Components, Machinery and Chemicals project. It is carried out by the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal) and Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment Industries for Leather, Footwear and Allied Trades (Abrameq). 

All products were developed on the basis of research conducted by Inspiramais’ Design Center, which follows the Product Pyramid methodology, including the 10% of the pyramid that was based on the theme of Zen. So, the materials were made according to the references for colors, prints and textures that will be in vogue in the next fashion seasons. 

Product Pyramid

The Product Pyramid is divided into three parts with different percentages, where each of them represents a phase of certain fashion references. 

10% - Represents technological and innovative products that are emerging in the market and reach a fashion-savvy audience first. 

30% - Involves the planning and processes to generate assertiveness in the sales of products that went through the 10-percent phase and which are already known by a large proportion of consumers, but are still considered all-new products. 

60% - Results in security and competitiveness in the sales of mass-produced goods, which have already gone through the 30-percent phase. In this phase, consumers already know these materials, which can be seen in television soap-operas and other media, and are already being used by a large portion of the audience. 

Zen in fashion - Creation

Once again, the inspirations come from nature, reconnecting human beings with reality, impacts and awareness. According to Walter Rodrigues, “the main rule of this new order is to be present. It is to participate and interact in 360 degrees, in all the interfaces of a product, such as the planning, creation and execution of an idea. After all, design does not work miracles.” To this end, some references help to get things started for the next collections: 

- Unique textures, shapes and finishes must be observed as a starting point for the creation of products.
- The way the materials drape and the strength of the essential and timeless designs determine a fresh - gentler and delicate - outlook, indicating a time of contemplation.
- The sea, the surface of the Earth and the human that transits through them are connected, thus creating models of exploration and care, looking to the future.
- Corrosion, rusty, greasy and post-fossil aspects - it is the action of man on earth and the action of nature on the legacy left by man.
- Inorganic waste and the action of nature on them serve as inspiration for textures, finishes and shapes.

So, we link the action of time on all things that touch the soil and the water with the movement to reconnect human beings with nature, resulting in Zen, colors, shapes, and feelings.
