Buyers from Latin America, United States, Europe and Asia receive logistical support to visit the only fashion materials exhibition in Latin America.

International footwear and leather manufacturers or fashion materials distributors will have the opportunity to visit the only materials design and innovation exhibition in Latin America - Inspiramais - scheduled to be held on January 14th and 15th, 2020 in São Paulo.

In addition to receiving all the support as regards tickets, accommodation and transfers, whose costs will be covered by the project, the representatives of the selected companies will get to know the main product launches in the fields of Brazilian design, innovation and technology, attend the talks held during the two days of the event,  visit Couromoda, and participate in business rounds with Brazilian companies.

The business rounds are an action undertaken by the Buyer Project, which is promoted by the By Brasil Components, Machinery and Chemicals project, an export-boosting initiative carried out in a partnership between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and Assintecal. The action also relies on a partnership agreement with the Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment Industries for Leather, Footwear and Allied Trades (Abrameq), which represents the leather and footwear machinery vertical.

Interested buyers must fill in the form, which will be evaluated according to the profile of the companies participating in the By Brazil project. Further information is available at https://assintecal.bitrix24.com.br/pub/form/12_inscripci_n_submission/qi05i2/.

For 10 years, Brazil has hosted the only materials design and innovation exhibition in Latin America - Inspiramais. The Exhibition - which is a benchmark throughout the continent and attracts more and more buyers from other parts of the world, such as the United States, Europe and Asia - is in a prominent position for introducing newly-launched design and technology innovations for the entire fashion market - textile and clothing, furniture, footwear and costume jewelry - presenting dozens of projects and more than a thousand product launches in each edition.

During the last Inspiramais, 720 business rounds were held in two days, with the participation of 30 buying companies from Portugal, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, Guatemala and Ecuador, which generated US$ 10.9 million worth of international business.

“Inspiramais brings together information that unifies the language and methodology for the entire fashion production chain.
Responsible for encouraging a process that involves the entire industry and intends to develop fashion with a genuinely Brazilian identity, Inspiramais fully covers the design and fashion markets in Brazil, Latin America and European countries, aligning content for the leather, footwear, accessories, clothing, furniture, and costume jewelry industries”, explained researcher Walter Rodrigues, who coordinates Inspiramais’ Design Center.

Portuguese businessman  Albertino Leite, owner of the company of the same name, highlighted the need for information exchange among  markets and reaffirmed the importance of giving visibility to national products abroad. “This is my first time at the Exhibition and I’m very happy with this experience because I was looking for other partners and new business opportunities. I've liked what I've seen, I like the exhibition facilities and the materials launched. And I think Brazilian products are well underway. I find it interesting the Exhibition’s concern to call people from other countries, in a crossroads of cultures.”

Buyer Jimena González Polit, from the Mexican company Sacuri, was surprised at the wide variety of products. “We’ve had a pleasant experience because we’ve found different kinds of new items. Today we import a lot of accessories from China, which are used in shoes and handbags, and we’re looking for new suppliers. Brazil is a very good option. In addition to innovations and fashionable materials, we’ve found excellent quality at Inspiramais. Therefore, we want to establish relationships with different manufacturers so we can form good alliances”, said Ms. Polit.
