Cipatex - Brazilian congress on vegan impacts

What is it like bringing veganism to a big industry? Fernando Brandão, the chemist responsible for Cipatex's vegan vinyl laminate, talks about the reasons and origin of releasing the vegan laminate, the system used, the development and testing process, repercussion in the market and commercial results.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo-IFQSC. (1980-1984), Master´s Degree in Organic Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1986-1988), he worked in the Organic Synthesis sector, in the research and development of dyes and pigments (1984-1995) and currently works in research and development in the plastics sector (vinyl laminates), Cipatex (1995-present).
