Technology with proven efficiency - Caimi & Liaison
Some materials can become a surface for viruses and bacteria, increasing the risk of contamination and transmission.
Our technology was developed to inhibit the persistence of the virus on various materials. This characterizes it as a product with virucidal action, in other words, our aim is to help interrupt the propagation chain of the virus.
ANTIVIRAL* technology has features that reduce the infectious capacity of the DNA/RNA of the virus and is able to inactivate enveloped viruses such as influenza, herpesvirus, coronavirus, among others and can be used in various types of substrates.
It´s virucidal action has been confirmed for Herpes Simplex Virus 1, Coronavirus-Strain MHV-3 and H1N1 Influenza enveloped viruses. They are also effective against Human Adenovirus 2 (respiratory, not enveloped).
*The effectiveness of the technology was tested by independent and accredited institutions based on standard ISO 21702 (Measurement of antiviral activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces). The ANTIVIRAL product´s action against SARS-CoV-2 specifically has not yet been tested because the laboratories we have in Brazil are not able to test the product in this phase.
